How to install windows 7 from USB drive

 

Simple steps to install windows from USB drive.

Hello frnds,

Today I will tell you how to install windows from USB drive.It become necessary to know when you have notebook or your DVD-ROM has been damaged.moreover it is faster to install windows from USB drive than CD or DVD.I will tell you some simple steps and after that you are ready to  use windows 7.(In my next blog I will tell you "How to dual boot your computer".

STEP 1>(If you don't have ISO file)

1. If you have DVD of WINDOWS 7,copy all the files of DVD into your USB drive from other computer.
2.   move all the file into the folder and name foldar whatever you want.
3. Download the ISO creator software.Here I suggest some ISO creator.            >Magic ISO                                                                                                        >Free ISO creator                                                                                            >ISO creator
4. Create ISO image of your folder that you have made above.follow the steps given by ISO creator.
   
5. Now you have a ISO file.

1. Now you have to download USB boot software.I have used around 5 to 6 but my best is RUFUS USB creator.here I post the download link.                      http://rufus.akeo.ie/downloads/rufus_v1.3.4.exe

1. follow the steps of rufus and select the path of your ISO file and click on start button.
   
2. It will take around 3 to 4 minutes(fastest USB creator ever).After it finished,you are ready to boot your computer from USB drive. 
3. Before booting,don't forget to change USB STORAGE DEVICE as first choice of your BIOS rather than CD-ROM.
